I have to agree with mrollings53, and we can overthink these things. Comes down to there's probably as many opinions as there are trucks out there and you have to be comfortable with your setup.

As far as fixing squat; I installed a set of RideRite airbags on my truck. I've probably got an inch of squat with the 2000lbs that live in the bed at 80 psi; just a little taller than level with the front.
He is between 10-15%. What weight would you suggest?

@meborder From my personal experience. A saggy rear and a front that remains the same height loaded causes porposing. Also, the sway control is not as effective from lack of friction. At least on an Equalizer type wdh hitch that relies on friction.

I will say I completely agree with you on the air bags and wdh usage. To me it adds another level of complexity for weight transfer and sway control.

To me, its usefulness would be to air them up high in the rear, add the bars and drop to level adding friction and weight transfer. As you said. Airing to level then adding the bars would make it high in the rear when you adjust for tension.
