Hey Shaun, how is it going today??

It is a little busy here today, trying to get the end of the month stuff taken care of along with a couple of loose strings.

 

It is going Neil. City had a bad wreck this morning to deal. The road is still closed. Happened about 0700 this morning. 3 vehicle accident. 1 mustang, a school bus, and a city mass transit bus. 6 fatalities so far. 5 on the mass transit bus and the driver from the school bus. Looks like the school bus hit the mustang first and then continued down the street and hit the other bus almost head on.

Wow, that is a tough scene to deal with. Prayers going out to all first responders and family members that have lost loved ones.

 

Yeah it is for sure. The only good thing is the fact that there were no kids on the school bus. Doesnt make it any easier though.

 

Everyone can be thankful for that, but still tough to deal with the carnage and loss of several lives along with dealing with the injured people on top of it.

So very true Neil 5 injured from the city bus still in the hospital. They will be waiting for the aide on the school bus to be well enough to ask questions.

 

I wonder if the bus driver had a medical emergency that caused the crash?

 

That is one of many things they are looking at right now.

 

Also, this situation could have been a lot worse as you know.

Hey Don, so far so good. It started off frosty this morning and it is suppose to get into the mid 60's and it is sunny. Tomorrow it maybe close to 70 before some more much needed rain arrives tomorrow night/Thursday. We are still down about 3.5" for the year and last month we ended up with about 5.5".

 

Yes it could have been Neil. The school bus could have had students on it. The city bus could have had more people on it. More cars could have been involved.
