It looks like the edit function is disabled once someone posts after the initial post in a thread, or am I missing something? I have a thread that started life as a poll and developed into a trouble shooting discussion, so the thread title and poll don't really apply anymore. I can't seem to edit the thread title and eliminate, or even change the poll.

I think it would benefit a lot of users experiencing similar issues, but finding the info is very difficult because the title and poll don't clue in what is actually being discussed.

I don't want to start a new thread because there is already some very good info and advice in the current thread, and I don't want to have to start over with the discussion...any reason the edit function is disabled like that?

 

edit a post feature goes away after a few hours so disgruntled users can not go back and delete their posts.
post up the thread link, and what you would like the title to read and one of us moderators will get it changed for you.

I think adding *now pre-mod diagnostics* to end of the title would be okay.
