ODB-1 Scan Tool! - FINALLY!!!

I like it for all my Fords when reading data but it will not read the brake codes for my 1999 Jeep GC so I had to get another reader for that, the Innova 3030g.
For just reading the codes on a OBD1 Ford I use the Equus 3145 Ford Digital Code Reader.

The CP9190 will read codes and data for both OBD1 & OBD2.

This Actron seems like a long drawn out process for reading the codes....
I'm not impressed by that.

What kind of fuel mileage are you getting?
#20
12 to 14(ish). 185k miles 4.9, auto, 3.55 gears, standard cab with a longbed. I talked to a guy at a swap meet has one with a stick-shift and he claims he still gets 19 mpg.

Also if you want to read codes or data or hook it to a home computer to print or save codes or save data to the home computer.
Where the Equus 3145 Ford Digital Code Reader will only read the codes for the OBD1 Fords.

I can repeatably get 19-20 highway mpg with an E4OD if I pull the drive slugs, put stockish road tires back on and try to cruise around 60-65.

"Drive Slugs"...???
I had a 94 F150 with a stick and 2.73 gears that got 19 mpg. Had to drive it like I was mad at the world to get it onto the freeway.... It WAS a slug!

They're like hubs but with fewer moving parts. Google is your friend.
That sounds like the kind of thing the guy (or gal) that rides his brakes at 20-30mph until the last 100ft of the on-ramp would say. You know that with a manual transmission you have to do that yourself
I prefer to use about 90% of my available traction when rounding the corner in the on ramp. Unless there's someone in my way I usually pass people on the right before I merge
