Looks correct to me...
Ford does NOT want to be pulled into Court because the NOT-Calibrated fuel metering system.. runs out of fuel.
must needed
Calibrated metering system
Calibrated fuel tank
Calibrated fuel pickup and pump.
in the mid 80's I added an aftermarket travel computer to my 84 Buick Electra .... as it had adjustments and I got real close on distance and remaining fuel in tank... but it took like 10 fill-up's.

For over two years I filled my 2015 long bed by stopping after the second auto cutoff. But one day I kept filling about seven more auto cutoffs adding almost three gallons! My mte showed 15 miles. Then I was averaging 15.4 mpg. In the end I had added a little over 33 gallons! Whereas previously maybe 28 to 29. Don’t know the reason. So my opinion now is the miles to empty is very close to accurate.

on my 2018 f250 6.2l ccsb, full is full, and i get about 29gal in it when i am down to 15mi to empty per the digital read out. My '14 tundra was the same except i could squeeze 5 or 6 gallons more after the pump shut off if i was patient enough to stand there waiting to dribble the extra in. The 6.2 does not give me that option, less than a gallon and the neck is filled. i was hoping maybe after a few tanks it would adjust the distance to empty, but that sounds unlikely. I also hoped the '18s would not have that same issue, again worng.

My 2017 CCLB is very close to bang-on. Converting from metric, the display read 37 miles to empty and the tank took 45.2 gallons. Average consumption that tank was 10 mpg (carrying a slide-in camper).

My 16 F350 gives the same readout right at 49 miles to empty, all it takes is 29 gallons but my aftermarket receiver on the OEM Feature reading gives a "different miles to empty" which can be 100 miles or more depending on my mpg.
I was told at a dealer the reason is because of the fuel pump inside the gas tank, stays cooled by gasoline so it triggers the miles to empty even though you still have extra + miles really left in the tank.
I have always stopped refilling after the 2nd cut-off, I don't round out to the next dollar or next full gallon, by doing it this way my gallons used/mpg readout is spot on, even when I am towing. I do pause for 20 seconds after the 1st shut-off before I continue to the 2nd shut-off.

I just filled up my 2019 CCSB for the 2nd time and the dash said I had 10 miles until empty. I put 30 gallons in it after the 2nd automatic shutoff at the pump. This gives me a 4 gallon cushion which I prefer. I can't tell you how many times I thought I was okay on a trip and then didn't come across a gas station for many miles while towing.

I did a trip with the RV out to CO and back to IN again just this September.
My "average" fuel economy was spot on accurate; always exactly right, or at worst, only 1/10th mpg off. Every tank was hand calculated, and the "average" function reset at each fill up. Every single tank was dead-on right, or only one-tenth off. Can't ask for much better than that. One time I ran it down pretty darn low once in an attempt to see how much I could fill; got about 32 gallons in it. The DTE at the time said something like 14 miles left, and I was averaging about 8.5mpg. Hence, two gallons would be akin to 17 miles of fuel ( 2gal x 8.5mi/gal= 17mi). Since it showed 14 mile of DTE, it was only 3 miles off. That's close enough for me to call it accurate.
