***BE WARNED*** Carlisle Motors now DBA 540chambers

I just wanted to bring attention to this poor excuse for a human being. As most of the frequenters here know, a fellow OBS enthusiast was really taken by a guy in Pennsylvania that mainly sells on ebay. You can see his thread here:

https://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/1...uck-v2-17.html

Now Mike also has a previous thread before this one that he started and it shows what a POS thief this Ebay seller is. I have done some searching around other diesel forums with guys that have the same story. One guy went so far as to fly back to Penn after driving his purchased truck home to Idaho. He showed up with a sledgehammer and some choice words while the seller, "540chambers", went running into the office to hide when he saw the buyer coming.

Because I have made offers on his trucks in the past and been in communication with him, I sent him a final message calling him out on his dishonest and downright deceitful and s****y business practices. Here is what I said and how he responded:

Me: I like how you put Armor All on the completely bald tires. Still ripping people off Tom? Still selling rusted out and unsafe pieces of crap? Every diesel owner on every diesel forum knows about your business practices and that you have changed your business name. How long will this one last?

Tom's response: I sold 250 diesels this year so far, and I'll tell you dude the comments on the diesel forums have been the biggest blessings ever, the good solid buyers read them and realize that people are all a** holes and some just cant be pleased and come over and buy, the s*** wipes of the world read and believe and stay away which I cant be more happy with, I read a review on yelp the other day of a person complaining the coffee was too hot at Starbucks another half empty mindset, was that u?

My final response: Hahahahahahahahahaha. You better read those diesel forums a little closer. What about the guy you ran from that showed up with a sledgehammer? Is that one of your pleased customers? What about the other "pleased customer" who tried to drive his truck through your office when you ran as soon as you saw him on your lot? We all know you and your business. There's a reason people like you change the name of their business more than once a year. Take care.

Now, I know some will say "dude, why waste your time?"...Maybe I have a vengeance for POS's like this. Maybe I like drama? Maybe I just want to be a hater? None of the above...but I will say that I am so over these idiots that take advantage and no one say or does anything. One less parasite in this world in which I reside makes it that much better to live here. It's probably some misplaced sense of righteousness in a fallen world. But I do know this. I don't want to see anymore threads about guys having to go through what I have read about 3 people thus far, including Mike who has worked tirelessly just to make his truck decent.

Hope this helps any unsuspecting buyers or OBS lovers who see this guy's shiny trucks. Now you know.

I swear there are more shady car dealers in Pa than any other state... just like mechanics on this state... all f***ing horrible. New, used car dealerships, no clue what on Earth they are doing. All scammers.

I tried looking him up but couldn't find him on ebay. I guess I don't know how to search for a seller (member).

Here's a link to this stooge's seller page.

540chambers on eBay

100% feedback? Hmmm. Lots of feedback as a buyer, but not much as a seller...

This guy is the worst kind of scum, taking advantage of people when they can't do anything about it.
