Raising Extended OEM Running Boards

I see a lot of post of owners getting F150 running board brackets and raising their running boards. I’m wanting to do the same but I have the extended running boards and the rear bracket is a different configuration. I saw one truck on here that has done it and I replied to his post but haven’t heard back. Does anyone know if there is a bracket for this or am I going to have to modify the one that is on there? Thanks in advance.

Here you go. I just redrilled and used the factory hardware for the back mount.

Are you guys using two F150 shorter brackets per side in addition to this rear one in pix OR are you adding a 3rd one to make them stronger ?

I always overdo things making them more user friendly and / or Stronger

My OEM extended running boards only had 2 brackets per side. Then the end bracket for the extended part of the running board

Mine has only 2 also but there is a place for the third one like the standard length comes with.

I dont think it would hurt to add the extra one. But I think the 2 is good enough.

I finally got around to ordering F150 brackets to raise my RB & Ford tells me their on B/O.

I found some take off brackets locally on Craigslist & bought 6 of them.

im in the process of installing them on my 19 F350 SRW 176” WB with extended length running boards.

Much Better now. I temporarily removed cab mount bushings for access to drill new holes with 90* drill for rear brackets.

Adding the 3rd bracket really stiffened up the already sturdy steps.
