Very sad to hear of Kevin's passing. I met Kevin some years ago while visiting the Springfield area, stopping in to see Stu. Just told my wife about Kevin, she remembered him. He was a character, had some great stories.
When traveling, the little I do, I try to find FTE members to drop in on. I'm glad I got to meet Kevin. I'll miss him on the board.

I spoke with Kevin's widow Brenda this afternoon. She is wanting to hang on to Kevin's truck since it meant so much to him. But it sounds like it is fully apart down to the frame. She's wanting a referral to somebody willing to complete the job. I told her I'd speak with a couple guys I know who might have interest, and told her I'd post here for input from the group. I have her phone number if anybody has interest. PM me if you want her number. Stu

Kevin was "55 F350", no underscore.
Here's where his old frame disappeared:

I can't find where he told why he needed a new frame, but I think the old one had a fatal problem.

"my wife can't nor will she get rid of bessie . as much as she complains she intends to hang onto her if i pass until my redheaded granddaughter turns old enough to drive her , as she is to be hers someday anyway ."
The above is from the last post of the thread about his frame being taken. It would be great to put this truck back together for his granddaughter.
