How do you have your CB antennas mounted?

Hmmm. Dont think that I would like that being on the roof... Ill do the bed mounts. Just gotta get em ordered.

Same here but I use a magnet mount Wilson 5000 in middle towards back

I had mine on a Nissan Hardbody. Ran them down through one of the drain holes in the bed, then along the frame up to the engine compartment up through the firewall into an existing pass through location.

Ask any CB antenna installer-they will tell you the roof is the best place and will yield the best distance reception.....

I didn't want to drill me roof either, so I had a pro do it.

I run a $20 older Cobra 19 plus radio (nothing fancy) and it works GREAT!!

However you mount it make sure you get the SWR's down or close to 1.

Im sure the roof is the best place. It just wouldnt work well for me. I wouldnt be able to fit it into my shop without screwing with the antenna. I just personally dont like that option.
