Hello, I am needing to find a gooseneck hitch fairly quickly for my 2017 Super Duty. Every where in town says the 2017s are different from the 2016 gooseneck hitches, and are back ordered and it could take weeks for them to get any. Is there anywhere online where I can get one that'll work to pull my 40ft gooseneck? Any help would be appreciated, thanks.

 

I originally had ordered my B&W Gooseneck through eTrailer, but ended up cancelling as they were backordered. Ended up getting mine off eBay from pickup surplus. The 4wd is GNRK1117

 

Thank you. I just got a call from a place nearby that will install it for me tomorrow, so my problem is solved.

 

had mine installed Friday, put 20k companion 5th in and pull my rv that weighs 16k, unbelievable power, and smooth ride... very happy

 

What are they saying is different? This is the first I've heard of this. It all looks the same to me. If there is a difference, I hope my dealer knew it when I ordered. He checked with the parts dept, but as new as these things are I wouldn't be surprised if I end up getting the wrong gear.

 

the frame is a box frame now and hitch mounting had to be redesigned....

 

I re-read the OP's post, I believe he is talking aftermarket, the Ford GN and 5th wheel hitches should pop in the same as they did on the older models. So I think I misunderstood his post.
