Dana 44 lug conversion

I have a dana 44 front out of a 78 truck 8 lug and would like to switch it over to 5 lug. I have a 5 lug 9" and will be putting both under a 88 Wrangler. I have looked around and haven't found anything to say its possible or not.

sure it's possible. just find a set of D44 5 lug spindles, hubs, and brake hardware. it will bolt rite on.

you may not even need the spindles. it has been the better part of 20 years since i last did the conversion and i forget.
last one i did was convert from 5 lug to 8 lug.
