'16 F350 wind noise on e-way
I bought my 2016 in Feb - love it. However, I noticed, for the first time in Sept (and a few times since), that, on a windy day, while driving on the e-way, there is a frequent and very noticeable 'honk' or 'hum' that seems to come from the passenger side. It is clearly caused by the wind blowing into or across an opening or something of that nature. I have tried everything - open/close windows, doors, sunroof; tie back the antenna; operate the windshield wipers, fold in/out the mirrors - and I cannot locate the source. Anybody else experience this? Any ideas? It is very annoying. Thanks.

Many of these noises have been attributed to the molding/sealing of the windshield. Apparently if there is gap of just a few millimeters and the wind hits it just right the molding/gasket starts to vibrate and you get a "Kazoo" kind of sound.
One way to rule it out/find it is to put masking tape around the top and sides of your windshield and then go out and recreate the conditions that caused the sound. If it goes away with the tape, then start removing tape one section at a time until the noise returns. (You may have to demonstrate it to the dealer to get them to redo the windshield.)
This drove me nuts on a previous truck after the windshield was replaced. Turned out the glass tech didn't fully clean out the old sealant and the left corner of the new glass was a little bit too high. Once they removed, cleaned it, and reinstalled the windshield the noise went away.
