My 1952 F1 pickup shifts nicely into gear when the truck is cold, but after it warms up (maybe ides up) it grinds going into first gear. Any easy fixes?
If it is a stock trans there is probably no syncro as mentioned the reason it works cold it that the heavy cold oil acts as a syncro slowing down the shaft in the trans . Proper clutch adjustment will also help
