van mirror replacement door repair

Hello I have a 95 ford e 350 with steel armed mirrors mounted on the doors
I purchased extendable dual view plastic extendable

Does any have any tips on filling the holes without out bondo and repainting

Not sure if there are some sort of fitted plugs

Any tips or pointing me in the right direction would be appreciated

your regular hardware box stores (home depot, lowe's, etc) have little round metal "buttons" in different sizes and finishes that might work. I have used those before on older trucks/cars to fill firewall holes. They stay in pretty good if you get the right size. You can silicone or JB weld if they're tad loose?
