Mission for Today- Go Get Drive Shaft Built

Seems simple enough right? We'll see, nothing is ever simple! Once I get that done and bleed the brakes I shoud be able to fir it up and see whats what.

Make certain you have the exact dimensions the builder wants and there should be no problems.

Were all rooting for ya. It sounds as you have talked to Tad Drivelines in Phoenix, so as long as you measure the way they asked ,it will be a piece of cake. I would advise checking to see the correct torque spec when bolting it up to the rear end, I was surprised how little torque is recommended on those bolts/nuts. Rock on Don, your almost there.

Well, I measured, remeasured and measured again, went down, and I had to measure between the locking tabs on the rear end yoke, nd count the splines (31) on trans as some C^'s are 28 & some are 31.. so it should be done Tuesday..

I usually recommend to download and use a driveshaft measuring chart. It helps avoid confusion, brings up things that may not have been considered and could save additional trips to measure something forgotten. A good place to begin: Dennys Driveshaft How To Measure Correctly for driveshafts that fit right
