I'm going to be selling a truck soon that needs cab mounts. I will be removing the good t-18 transmission and was wondering if it's possible to get a 3 speed on the column adjusted to be driveable with the driver's cab mount set down a little?
I have another t18 I could put back in it to sell, but I'd rather get rid of a 3 speed.

What your asking is a bit odd and think your trying to make a truck drivable with bad cab mounts for the reason only to sell.
I'm sure a person could place some wood 2x4's blocks between frame & the cab floor to supporting it up enough to keep the tranny linkage from binding for a short drive time.
Yes, I'm just trying to make it driveable for someone when I sell it. Not trying hide the fact the it needs cabs mounts or anything shady like that. A driving truck seems a bit more appealing.
Ummm. Do you have the 3 speed column and linkage? IMHO it would be better to keep it as it is so far. There are folks out there that prefer the column 3 speed. But more the granny 4 speed. I'd put it up for sale noting both possibilities. The buyer can have it either way. You attract more buyers this way. If the buyer wants the 3 speed you get rid of it for a little of your own labor. If they want it as it is then put the 3 speed on C/L.
Yeah, that's the truck I'd be selling. Here's the scenario...It will have the 3 speed column in it when I sell, and I do have some linkage. I'm going to be taking out the transmission (T18) because it's better than the one in my current truck. I have several transmission, and would rather get rid of a 3 speed, than the np435 that's coming out of my truck.
I do like the idea though of offering the possibility on craigslist.
