I have a 2006 F150 with a cylinder #1 misfire only code p0301. I have done new spark plugs, new coil packs, and new fuel injector on cylinder #1 with no luck. Any help on what to do next would be appreciated. thank you!
make sure the wire plugs are not twisted and are seated good on the COP and the injector... You might pull the COP back off, make sure the spring inside comes close to the end of the rubber boot... if not, stretch it a little. Don't use too much grease if any, and make sure it is dielectric and only put a dab on the inside of the boot at the tip...... look at the end of the electric plugs prior to reinstall. Make sure the pins are setting square in the cap... maybe flush the dirt / dust out with contact cleaner. ........... you are working on the front plug on the passenger side, right ?
well, assuming you don't have an internal problem and low compression, all that is left is the plug, COP , injector, and wires. I would start over, remove all, and inspect ... possibly change the COP and plug with #2 cylinder and confirm they are not the problem ?
