The company I work at just started making the aluminum rolling ingots that are used to make F Series body sheet! Here is a pic of my new 2017 XLT (I got it this last Monday) hooked up to our special transport trailer we use to haul these ingots around. FYI the ingot in this picture is 28" X 64" X 187" long and weighs 33,100 lbs!

When I was on the fire dept. years ago, I got to participate in an Urban Search & Rescue training class that took place at a local aluminum plant. As a practice exercise, we had to move one of those ingots 100 yards - lift it 3 feet and slide it over 10 feet onto a loading dock - using nothing but spud bars, chunks of pipe, cribbing blocks and a bunch of muscle! It was quite an accomplishment!
Tested the climb (on pavement still) and decent of grades to 12%. It was fun to watch the pitch. Cruise control set at 20 and auto "exhaust" brake done well.
