Well, I was wondering if a non turbo idi 7.3 pump will work on a turbo 7.3? The napa site lists 2 different parts, but are they really different or just fuel rate?

 

Yes.

You will need to turn the fuel screw up to compensate, though. And make sure that you time the new pump correctly for best results.

BTW, I ran a 6.9-spec pump turned up on my turbo'd 7.3 truck for a year until I bought a R&D pump, worked just fine.

Also, if you are buying a new IP, might want to check out idiperformance.com
Decent prices, and the pumps are fully rebuilt, not some of the shoddy work we've seen with 'large scale' rebuilders.

 

i would pass on the napa pump for one of Justins also. napa's "rebuilders" replace what is bad, and do not replace the head.
Justin replaces everything, so you basically get a new pump.
and for a lot less than the napa price too.
