OT - Hub Caps going to dump
Hubcaps --20,000 heading to the dumpster end of Oct 2016
ok heres over 20,000 hubcaps going to the dump pile at the end of this month ..Many are Studebakers and Fords
Linda and Andy are shutting down Happy Hubcap in Sacramento--- they have sold their building ..
thus every hubcap has to be gone and they have quite few nice caps for EVERYTHING.. including many Studes
the problem is-- they do not have

so is its "ma bell" or going in person with a sample or a pic of what you need

I'm all for mom'n'pop operations, but c'mon, the first question someone is going to ask about a hubcap is what condition is it in? They going to shoot a picture with their Instamatic, have the film developed, and snail-mail it?! If they only got $5 a cap, they're losing out on a hundred grand.

Stu I did see it on the Studebaker forum but thought of FTE as I know some guys are looking for hub caps. I just don't understand why no social network services. Maybe that is the reason they sold the building. There use to be a great store here in Lexington but the guy sold all pre 70 caps as they brought good salvage weight for scrapping. That maybe what is going to happen here.

I think the following is an acceptable definition of Luddite . Probably applicable in their case.
