replacing rotors with heavy duty brakes

Can anyone tell me if I can replace front/rear rotors and pads with the larger heavy duty kits available? The larger ones were on the police package. It would seem to me if I am replacing both rotors and pads I could.....that is unless the caliper was different.

If you're looking to get better braking performance, it's best to replace the rotors with a stronger cast iron material such as the High Carbon rotors with the black center hub along with more aggressive brake pads such as Hawk or EBC brake pads.
