Heater control valve (in-line hose)

It's rotted away. I see a bunch on ebay. The part looks right, but most ads say for 69 and newer. Tempted to find a NOS part over plastic reproduction. Opinions or source for part?

Here is a pic of the valve. The output nipple was completely rotted. Amazed it even held before I touched it. The valve still worked though. I took it out and the inlet side was nearly clogged solid too. I bought a temporary barbed hose connector at Ace just so it didn’t leak and the water could flow. Still no heat and the hoses are all cold. The core must be clogged?

Yes, it looks like a fairly universal part. Ebay has them for $12.74. It's probably a china part. I would buy a Ford part if one was available.

C3UZ-18495-A .. Cable Operated Heater Water Valve (Motorcraft YG-133) / Available from Ford & auto parts stores.

1963/67 Econoline / 1965/67 F100/1100 / 1968/72 F100/750 / 1973/79 F500/880.
