inline 6 to a coyote 5.0

Welcome to FTE.
"If you have to ask...."
You will need a transmission to go with it, and an aftermarket controller.
There are links here to get you started, and this is also in the 5.0 Coyote engine forum, where you will have better luck finding other owners and current swaps etc.

The Coyote motor uses the same bell pattern as the earlier modular engines. So any trans from one of those would work, although you will be on your own for a flywheel, clutch etc. You will just have to figure that out, or find it in a swap article or elsewhere. Some of that will depend on what trans you go with. As always, an automatic is a much easier item to deal with. It will require a controller as well, so decide on a trans and see if you can get a controller that works both engine and trans.
This is an expensive and complicated swap. Your 6 cylinder truck, what year is it? Is it in excellent overall condition? Brake and steering issues are only going to get worse with more power.
