So Ive been lurking for awhile now getting all kinds of good info here. As the title says I have a 69 f100 6cyl, 4 spd. I've picked up a 03 vic front and rear. and now today I acquired a 97 vic for $200.00. I haven't seen the 97, so am wondering does the front suspension unbolt like the 03. And what all electrical will I need from the 97 to get the 4.6 and trans to work. Also ive read here somewhere I think, that I need something for the power steering to work properly.

A 97s front suspension is integral to the frame whereas an 03 or newer is a separate subframe.

Mod motor engine swap? Again, you need to do more homework. Too much to discuss. Many a classic Mustang owners did mod swaps so surf the web... you'll need detailed wiring diagrams for the donor and build a decent understanding of all the sensors, software, and interlock like a PATS.
