Sunroof turbulence solved

So I'm reading the owners manual and it reads "press the open button, IT STOPS SHORT OF THE FULLY OPENED POSITION TO PREVENT WIND NOISE OR RUMBLING THAT MAY HAPPEN WITH THE MOONROOF FULLY OPEN".. it dawns on me that i'm not just pressing the button once and letting it open automatically.. I'm pressing the button the entire time.. when you just hit the retract/open button once and let go, it opens just shy of full and after a quick late night test drive.. it's perfectly quiet!!! press the button again and it goes to the fully open position which is what I had been doing all along.. I feel stupid
Sorry for confusion!!

Way to go Ozzie! Big of you to clear that up. Dumb of me to not suggest it.

I hope there is no issue withe the sunroof like what happened to one of my RV club members, it was only one so was probably a fluke. He has a truck Camper, had it on, driving down a highway and the sunroof got sucked out by the vacuum between the roof and cabover. This was in '14,

"I had a friend that his cab-over camper sucked the sun roof frame and window out of his F350. Has anyone ever heard of that before and is it a problem? I am looking at buying an F450 and would like to know if this happens often?"

I had a T-top fly away in a 99 trans am ws6. GM refused to replace it. The car had about 10k miles on it. I wound up calling the BBB and we all agreed the split the cost (about $350 out of my pocket at the time.)

Stuff happens.

Great find! No worries at all...learning is an iterative process, and there's a lot to re-learn in these beasts!

Great that you found the solution, mine has been amazingly quiet and airflow is easily controlled with the sliding back window.
