Cabs are identical but the nose and bed are different. The look is definitely different but you can see cabs are the same.

I drive a Fiat, but I'll be first to admit that I really like the 2017. The only things I don't like are the price increases and the lack of wood wrapped steering wheel.

Was at the dealer today to pick up some brake pads and CAC tube and saw a '17 F250 4x4 SB CC. Damn that is a tall truck! This I made the salesman mad when I said the grille looks like a Silverado. He said, "You Chevy guys will never change!". I shut him up when I pointed to my F350 and said, "That's my truck."

Boy am I glad someone said it 1st!!! I do not like the look of the new truck. The front end being the worst of it. If you look at the body lines from the side, looks like the engineers borrowed the lines from GM, particularly the side windows. I did check one out at the dealer, was not crazy about the dash either.

One day I will check out a 2017 in person... Sucks that the dealers here don't have a lot of stock yet. Some are "in transit" though.

From what you are telling me I am not going to like it though... I already don't like the price.

I put 40k this past year on my 16..I do have the 10 way powers seats and have no issues riding all day in it. I last an hour in my wifes Escape. Brutal car...
So I hope the 17's can give me comfort still if I need to go that way someday...maybe 10 way seating is a must for some.
No issues with the 16 at all so far...just did a 7700 mile trip hauling a 4k truck camper in the bed..over rough roads rural roads mountin passes,,, interstates... amazing truck over my 1970 Chev 3/4 ton 292 inline 6 with drum brakes.. Ha.

My wife drives an Escape and I am 100% comfortable in it on long trips. It's also a lot easier to drive in heavy traffic and better on fuel than the 6.7L. Love her car.

Comfort in a vehicle is unique to each person. I've struggled with comfort in a Ford Focus and Mercury Sable where plenty of others find both cars very comfortable. One of the reasons that I drive an F250 with a 6.7L and tow nothing is due to comfort. Really don't like the sitting position in an F150 all that much. Really does not excite me that the F150 cab was used for the 2017 F250/350 but I have not sat in one yet. Maybe it will be great but I cannot get my prior experience out of my head.

I have a 2001, so a 16 or 17 takes me into the modern age, but it's not even close for me; give me the 2017! I think it was about time that Ford started to finally start diminishing the front end that was really on the verge of being comical. The 17 still looks very tough and capable, but now it is sprinkled with a little sleek and sexy.

Once I'm in it I love my wife's '15 impala. I'm 6'2 275 so it's tough actually getting in and out. 😆

once again thanks for all the responses hard to believe you guys don't have them in some areas my local dealer has about 4 on the parking lot. I'll be glad to get my 16 back today whatever shape it's in also very happy that I got to drive one for a few days maybe some of you might want to rent one or if you are in good standings with your dealer borrow one for a two-day test drive it's definitely change my position after March I'll be in some other production vehicle take care

One other thing before it gets taken the wrong way I still think it's a fantastic truck and a definite Improvement the steering response and brakes alone would be worth the upgrade, I just Drive way too much to be that uncomfortable I'll wait a few years to the next change hopefully not 10 years take care

Just a quick comment about my views on styling.

When I owned my 2006 6.0 F250 I loved it. When they released the newer truck I couldn't stand the new grill. After I purchased my 2009 F250, I quickly fell in love and couldn't believe how dated my 2006 looked compared to my new 2009. When I had my 2009 side by side with a 2013 I thought the newer grill was ugly and the truck was soft looking. Now that I own a 2013 I think it looks way better than my old 2009.

I think it takes time for new styles to grow on people. As of right now I am not 100% sold on the new trucks styling, but I wasn't on the previous two generations either.
