LOL...thanks guys

I have no idea why some work and some don't, or why I posted so many without any issues. They are all coming from the same source, I'm swiping them from this thread over on the HAMB;

There doesn't appear to be a way to post a zoomed version of these photos directly, but here are links to a page that allows you to zoom yourself. You may need to reload the page once you click the link...for some odd reason it doesn't work the first time.

These pictures were taken in July 1952 here above the central valley after the famous 7.1 magnitude Earthquake that did much damage. I believe these pictures were taken in Tehachapi.

Same corner, same trucks, different angle(Can anybody ID the two closest trucks?):

Notice the newer non-utility bed Bell Phone truck:

Looks like yesterday(April 1953):

Caption: Photograph caption dated May 14, 1964 reads "Six of the Hanna children with their mother are shown on the Yosemite Park road with majestic El Capitan behind them. They made the trip in a new Pontiac Catalina station wagon. May to July are the best months to visit Yosemite because all the waterfalls flow freely then."

Here's one I just came across, taken in 1954 in Buenaventura port (Colombia)

How many 54's do you see and what sizes?

Can you name the other cars and trucks?

I'm not sure if I posted these before. They are appropriate for the weather in the great white north!

I think they are in Yellowstone.

That blue van is a zinger model. I still have my complete collection from the late 60s and early 70s

I genuinely can't believe that truck made it that far in the first place, doesn't look like a 4wd.

That is a cool picture. The question is, Can he back out? It doesn't look like he has chains on....

Narrow tires! That's the key.

Here are some pics my cousin posted on Facebook of the old Lancaster (PA) Shopping center. It opened in 1958. I'm not sure when these were taken. Enjoy.

Sorry about this picture as it has 3 Chevys in it, a 53 Bel Air convertible, a 57 Bel Air Hardtop and the front end of a 55 210 model.
