What size auxiliary fuel tank do you have?
I want to put a auxiliary fuel tank in my 2017 F450. I had a 45 gallon in the F350 that I just sold. Aluminum Auxiliary Truck Diesel fuel tanks - Aluminum Tanks and Tank Accessories sells a great tank setup and they currently have not only the 45 gallon available but a 72 gallon.
This will be an undercover tank -- but I just cannot make up my mine.
Your help would be appreciated.

I have a Transfer Flow 50 gallon tank with shallow utility box on top. It sits in the bed of my truck up by the cab. This is on my current 2004 F250 2x4 LB. When I take delivery on my new 2017 SD I'll be looking into fuel tanks again on the new truck. It's been a good product and I have no complaints. Transfer Flow, Inc. - Aftermarket Fuel Tank Systems

I have an ATTA 45RBR and love it. Like you I immediately realized that the quality of the tanks that ATTA was putting out was very good. The kit was complete and made my trip cross country from GA to Seattle and back this summer easy.
The 45RBR gives me a total of 75 gallons of fuel which is roughly 750 miles with a trailer and 1500 miles without a trailer.
I wanted an in bed tank because if/when I ever have to move to another truck I want to take the tank with me.

I have the same feed kit and also use the Wix water separator filter. I like knowing that the fuel is well filtered before it is dumped in the main tank.

I have the RDS 60 gal tank with a small tool box. I have it connected as a gravity feed hook-up. Normally cannot ever fill more than mid 50's gals at a fill-up. It's is gravity feed so also can not plan on using more than 52-54 gals. Highways are the worst because of the camber built into the roadway. So I try to be safe and figure I can use 30 gals from truck tank and 52 gals from aux tank at 8 mpg as my max distance between stops. I do better sometimes depending on terrain, wind, temperature, trailer loading, etc. It is a great improvement over a single tank system.

Just put in a 50 gallon titan tank on our short bed. I LOVE IT. going from ~200 miles a fillup to nearly 400 has been a huge help.
I went with Titan tank because no bed space taken - short bed is bad enough on space - and no need to confuse/correct the computer on the tank size. I've heard the newer trucks can throw a CEL if they dont see the fuel level drop with a AUX tank.
I borrowed these pics off the internet as I didnt get a good pic of my old tank and new tank side by side:
Anyway, check them out - they are out of Idaho Falls, ID, and I had my tank installed at a Ford dealer, with a warranty for about $1400. Not much off what a aux tank, plumbed, and installed will cost you. As far as day to day operation are concerned, no different then a stock tank - except for the really expensive fillups hehe, which was enough to sway my mind - and they do make a 67gal for the long beds.
