They put 13 quarts in because I use full synthetic. The dipstick indicated full, I had them check and show me. Since we travel all of the time doing my own is no longer an option..I was hoping that one of the factory people here could verify if they changed this or not..
Why can't someone come up with a dipstick that you can actually see the new oil against the hashmarks? Three and four dips into the crankcase sometimes to actually see it. And how archaic is a dipstick? After all this time no one has ever developed a better way to measure. On the 1929 Dodge boat just getting completed which uses a 1924 4 cyl Dodge truck engine there is a float in the crankcase and a rod protruding out of the bottom of the block which indicates oil level. That is more advanced than putting a stick down a tube to see where the oil is. Really now.

I've never seen a dipstick from a 6.7.. What type is it? The ones on the 6.4 and what's in my Mustang Cobra are horrid, the zinc weight on the bottom of a cable. Very difficult to see the oil when it's fresh.
The 6.2 Ford is reasonable, has the old blade type, and little holes at the add and full marks. The holes fill with oil if it's past that level so you know where it is.
The Ram Cummins is horrid as well. Instead of a zinc weight on the cable it's plastic on the cable.
That is one thing that GM does do right.. Maybe it's because their gas engines drink so much oil. The dipstick has 4 or 5 holes throughout the add to full range so you can see if it's 1/4 quart low, 1/2, 3/4, full quart etc. On the old 7.4 and 8.1 engines we used to have at work, when doing monthly oil checks they'd routinely be 2-3 quarts low.
