'04 lariat cruise not working
My cruise isn't working, won't even come (no light on dash).
I tried the self test where you turn the ign on with the E-brake on and try holding the cruise off button to enter some kind of diag mode but it didn't work. I found a video on youtube where a mechanic replaced some pressure switch on the master cyl but my master cyl doesn't have what the video showed. I read somewhere about the 3rd brake light having something to do with it. FWIW, my 3rd brake light does not work.

Did you replace it with an incandescent bulb and does it now work?
Does the bulb in the cluster come on during the initial power-on bulb prove-out of the cluster?
Is your '04 a Heritage (leftover '03, really) or the "new body style" (NBS for 04)?
If an 04 NBS, the deactivator switch was moved to the brake pedal mechanism under the dash. It still needs to be check as it can cause a completely dead cruise system if the switch is open.
