Which exhaust system do you guys run?
I currently have a MBRP 4" turbo back aluminized metal that apparently around 5 years in the salt is all it can take. Was under the truck last night and noticed quite a few holes that I never saw before. So there are Diamond eye, or MBRP. Which do you guys have? Pros and Cons? T304 OT T409 stainless?

I have the MBRP 4" turbo back T409 Stainless Steel with T304 tip.
The underneath components get a patina fairly quickly, but people normally only see the T304 tip.
I like it a lot, still quite solid. I couldn't justify a bunch of extra $$ for hidden T304.
As you surely know, there is only "one way" to get it to fit around the tank in the Excursion. It has to be lifted, turned, and supported "just right" to clear everything and not rub.
The sound is still quite tame INSIDE the passenger area, but if I open the rear window, you can hear the turbo whistle quite nicely! Has a deep, mean sound from outside.
Not at all terrible on long trips, either.
You probably know all this, except for the materials. They have held up quite nicely on our daily driver Excursion here in the rust belt

How long has it been installed on your truck? I run with a muffler delete currently. I am thinking about this system with a muffler again. Gets a little much when towing for long distances. I don't know. Maybe I am getting old. But I do love the whistle, probably will loose that with the muffler.

I don't have a muffler or cat. Exempt.
With the windows closed, I can only get a hint of whistle through the firewall, nothing from the exhaust.
Had a nice throaty sounding muffler on my 4Runner, but the DRONE at cruising speed was terrible!
I don't notice it on this one. Maybe it's failing on yours, or is it touching something it shouldn't? All rubber hangers?

4" Stainless steel Flow-Pro exhaust by Thoroughbred Diesel. I have the delete and a muffler. I can switch between the 2 depending on what I am doing. Been running the muffler for several moths, haven't done any towing above 7,000lbs so didn't really need to go with the delete section. Very high quality and probably one of the easiest kits I have ever put on any vehicle. The hardest part was lining up the down-pipe. It took less than an hour to do, start to finish. Here a few bad pictures of it.
That one is the delete section.
These clamps make it super easy and way better than the old style "U" clamps.

But seriously, I'm happy with my MBRP. Sounds like others are happy with what they are running, too. That's a good thing
My suggestion is to go TRY a few. See if any members or buddies are near you with exhausts you are considering. Videos are nice, but they often have quite DIFFERENT frequencies reproduced or picked up. In-cab experience and highway speeds can be quite varied.
If you have the chance, invite a member to lunch

Those clamps have been in use on heavy trucks for years and they are a dream to work with but I have seem many of them with soot stains around them, I do not know what you can do to seal them up.

I run the 4" MBRP with the muffler and it is a good system. I guess you already know from your experience though that it is a southern states type of system. I like the deep sound it gives the exhaust and the virtually zero drone noise because of the muffler.
It was a real pain in the *** to install the downpipe though, not really sure why, but it was a nightmare.
