Looking to purchase 6.4

WHATEVER YOU DO, DON'T BUY A 6.4L
For preventative, and practically necessary upgrades for these engines, you're looking at 3k+ off the bat (egr delete, dpf delete, tuner). At 122k miles mine already had multiple severe coolant leaks and a bad oil cooler (just the oil cooler, no labor, was 2k)
I've spent over 8k in the past 6 months (when I bought it) and the diesel specialty shop I take it to said it's about one of the worst diesel trucks you can buy. He's suggesting I dump it now as he said it'll basically be the never ending story of what to fix next. I just put my truck in the shop AGAIN two days ago and just learned I have a bad transfer case too so now I'm about to jump up to about 11k within six months of owning the vehicle. Had 122k miles on it when I bought it. I'm only at 133k now and have treated the truck very well. Don't make my mistake!! There's a reason they only made the 6.4 for a few years....
