Thanks! I've got an aggressive spam blocker and this wouldn't be the first time one of the good guys got 'cleaned' out. Sent you and email to your email address.

Could one of you who has the shouldered bolts please measure them carefully and post the dimensions and diameters? I'm sure we can come up with a new alternative. For one thing, it appears a bushing could be slid over a standard bolt to make the shoulder.

Will do. I'll have to pick up some calipers this weekend.

Well. This turned into an odyssey! My trip to buy some calipers turned into a Harbor Freight orgy of tool purchases. Then once I got the part measured my scanner wouldn't recognize my network. Sigh. Straightened out now.

The critical dimensions are the thickness of the bolt head, which could be filed or ground down; and the spacer which a piece of tubing could be substituted for.

The OAL of the bolt is .832". The hole that a cotter key goes through could be replaced by either a flat/lock washer or a thread locking compound.

Thanks very much! If you still have it available, the distance from the shoulder to the cotter pin hole would finish it. Looks like a 5/16" ID x 7/16" OD bushing slipped over a 5/16 - 24 bolt would do it, with a flat washer under the head.
