I have a fine soot looking stuff in my degas bottle , but no coolant in my oil ...any ideas?

 

Any smell to it like exhaust?

When you say doesn't overheat....how do you mean--no degas puke or no Ect getting high? Only a couple of ways I can remember exhaust getting in coolant. Is your intake wet?

No saying this is the case on yours but I have an 06. Was perfect when I bought it. Not long after I had a bit of puke one time. My intake wasn't wet so I just put on a new degas cap. A year after I bought it i did an egr delete. Still getting a bit of puke then started having heat issues. About another year later it was puking quite a bit. Hindsight being 20/20 my coolant smelled like exhaust and it was from bad headgaskets. Studded it and new gaskets and all is well. Still some things to check so please chime back in.

 

I'm thinking one of my injector cups are bad , I just replaced all 8 injectors and one of the tips had a rust like brown ring around it ...on the freaking passenger side😤
