2014 f450 "system off to save battery" ?
I was driving home from a job today and the dash lights went off in my truck no gauges no tax no phone no speedometer ,on the center counsel display it said "system off to save battery "
Went to dealership right away ,they didn't have a technician to look at it ,told me think it might be the alternator?
Truck has 50,000 on it yesterday.
Does anybody have Idea?
Has this happened to someone else?

Sounds like a PCM glitch. Maybe the truck reverted to "transport mode".
When the trucks leave the factory, they are in a low power transportation mode til they arrive at the dealer. This saves the battery as the factory does not know how long a truck will sit till it arrives at a dealer.

I was able to pry out the old altanator and put in a new one. It is putting out 17.9volts Gauges turning on and off, dummy light coming on and off battery light brake light traction control light and now the engine light?
Windows are not working the ac is not working no fans for heat,to radio.
Yesterday I was at the dealer and they keep asking if I have a extended warranty???
Has anybody had to replace the sync system?
