How do you get the door chime to go away when the key is still in the ignition?
Also, how do stop the driver seat from moving every time the key is removed?

That chime is the worst. I can't believe Ford doesn't have a simple off button for it. There are some threads about it. I put tape over the speaker behind the cluster. Someone more recently has figured out how to disable it in the key tumbler, which looked pretty easy. I will look for the thread.

I'm pretty sure I've seen it done on the 11-16's. There is a search tab in each forum section. I have also used google. Google "door chime ford truck enthusiasts" or similar search words.

 

Mine stopped working about a month ago. Now I have to press and hold the key into the ignition to make it chime but it doesn't bother me at all!

I think there is a setting you can turn off in the menu that is called "easy exit" or something to that effect. It is designed to have the seat go back to supposedly make it easier to get in and out of.
