Sport Steering Wheel Horn Button

Sport Steering Wheel Horn Button
Morning fellow Ford Brethren,
I have a sport steering wheel for my truck and I also have a horn button for it, my problem is that the horn button is missing the Ford emblem sticker in the middle.
I am unfortunately a few hundred miles away from my truck (for another week or so) and cannot measure the size of the emblem.
1.) Can someone with one of these take a measurement of the emblem for me?
2.) Does anyone know a source to purchase the correct replacement emblem?
Thanks in advance for any info provided.

You can purchase the whole horn button for $85 here 1978-1979 Ford Bronco and F-Series Truck Sport Horn Button Silver-Broncograveyard.com. I have never seen just the center emblem sold by itself, maybe it is but I have not seen one. -Ed

We'll see how this turns out. Why is it the simple stuff seems to take the most time and is frustrating as heck.
I sent emails to Green Sales, RPN Parts and The Lincoln/Mercury Old Parts Store. Green sales is the only one that returned my email and they failed to tell me how much it would cost to send it to me.
I logged on to my account with Dennis Carpenter, selected the item, chose the shipping method ($9.99 Ground). Put in the payment info and hit submit. Low and behold, as soon as I hit the submit button, the shipping jumped up to $25.00!!! Not a chance I am paying $25.00 to ship something that can literally be sent for under $5.00. So I pick up the phone to call, oh yeah, it's Saturday, they do not operate on Saturday...
I just sent them an email and requested the shipping be dropped back down, or cancel the order. More to come on Monday.

I hate that.
Ever tried to tailor a RockAuto order to get it ALL to ship from one "warehouse" to cut back the shipping charges? They won't let you do it...suddenly that $1.99 part goes from whse B (where you skillfully pd an extra $.20 to avoid the $5.00 shipping) is only available from whse C...where the shipping is $7.00.
I'm all for capitalism and businesses making a profit...'Murica! But don't whizz on my leg and tell me it's raining....we BOTH get, uh...whizzed.

I've gone so far as to create a spreadsheet and move items around based on price, expected quality, and when the part is needed. With LMC, I'll max out the total cost to be just under the next increased increment in shipping cost. One time with Rockauto, a $10 water neck cost me $25. I bit the bullet because it was needed ASAP... but it didn't feel good clicking that button.

The center emblem is a little over 2" in diameter, & has a clear lens over it.
I was at a swap meet yesterday & saw a few different Ford emblems that looked like they would be a suitable "custom" replacement for the original. I think some are centers for aluminum wheels used on cars.
I have the correct center in the sport wheel in my 79 F150 & do have one issue with it. It is shiny aluminum, & when the sun hits it, it reflects a strong glare right into my eyes. If this were a daily driver, I would replace it with something less reflective, as this would drive me crazy. But, I don't put many miles on this truck these days & I can live with it.
I picked this sport wheel up at a swap meet this summer. The back must have been broken up like so many are. Someone rigged up this cool center using the old base with a new front. I think it may look better than factory, it just looks right. I think the center may be from an early 70's van wheel.

My stock wheel is pretty scabby so I started looking for a replacement. I really like the sport wheel but, WOW...prices are high. I've also seen the horn buttons alone for 80-90 bux.
I'm not too picky about the design, I'm more particular about diameter. Smaller than 15" just looks odd, IMO.

Thanks for all the input and ideas fellas.
Dennis Carpenter sent me an email first thing this morning stating that the shipping was being dropped to $9.99 due to the size and weight of the item purchased. That price is still high as far as I am concerned, but I guess they have to pay wages as well.... I get it. I'm just glad they dropped it back down.
