F500 front fenders vs F100

Does anybody know how the wheel opening size compares on the front fenders of these trucks? F100 to F250 to F500 or even F700??
What I'm thinking of is... can I use the F500 fenders so 22" semi type truck wheels (aluminum dually type) will fit better in the opening of the fender? Also are the F500+ fenders wider?
I'm thinking about building a lowered dually truck maybe with air ride and I want it low as it can go. I have a 56 F100 cab and a E350 7.3/4R100 chassis, so I'm just think about putting this stuff together and wonder what you guys think. Thanks

The wheel opening in the F2 thru F6, I believe, are larger than those of an F1, depending on what wheel size the truck was built with. There is a chart in the parts manual that lists fender variations.

Fenders are the same for bolting on but, the F500 has a much larger wheel opening than does the F100.

C = F100 / D = F250 / Y = F350 / T = F500 / TH = F600

Bill thanks for posting that. And thanks for identifying the codes for F100, 250, 350.... I knew that C was for F100 but I can never remember the others.

Why did Ford use letter codes for each series? Couldn't they have used 10, 25, 35, etc for each series? Or at least go in alphabetical order, like C, D, E, etc?

I don't know why, because it was DUMB, DUMB, DUMB!

Not one of Ford's better ideas!
