Trying to find out which wheels are on my 1957 f 350 to line up some new tires.the tires on the truck are 7.50-17 and the wheels have 68600 or 00989 and a little round cymbal beside the numbers.
The wheels are Budd 68600 widow makers. The rims are the deadly Firestone RH-5° two parts. The insignia is one for the National Wheel and Rim Association. Might be slightly different than this one, but same concept. Stu
If your looking to do away with the widow makers I just recently picked up a set of 5 17.5 tubeless 6 lug wheels.. If your interested shoot me a pm the wheels are located in South Dakota but i would be more than willing to ship em.
These 17.5" tubeless wheels are a very good replacement option. Somewhat shorter 8-17.5" tire than your 7.50-17". About 32" vs your 34". Reasonably close in size to a 7.50-16" or 235/85R16". Your 6 lug x 7.25" pattern really gives you few other options. Some have had their centers custom remounted into new tubeless rims, and others have searched and found the rare 19.5" variety. These 17.5s are an immediate bolt on fix. Stu
69 flareside I would be interested in your wheels but I'm in Canada. I wonder what the shipping would be.if you have time to see what it would cost I would take them if it's not to much to ship.
I'll be interested to learn whether there is a way to ship without jumping through many Customs hoops. I recently tried to find a means to ship wheels from Toronto to me, and gave up. Tried Fastenal, UPS, and a trucking company. Ended up driving there to pick them up. Stu
