89 F250 wHD 4wd ZF 5s42 swap. Xfer case
Swapping a C6 for a ZF manual. Concerned about the transfer case. Have a Borg Warner 1345 presently. Are there any issues I should anticipate? Have 7.3 IDI non turbo. ZF came out of 4wd diesel but transfer case was Borg Warner 13-56 manual shift. What land mines do I need to watch out for?

No issues the transfer cas will fit the tranny. Wiring you will need the back up light coneector for the ZF. You will need to jump the neutral start switch until you hook up the clutch switch under the dash on clutch rod. Just finished this conversion. I like it a lot. I was able to use the C6 cross member just slot the tranny mount holes a little longer on the member. I did not have to do any drive shaft work. The difference in tranny length is less then 1/2 inch. I was lucky I had a donor truck to pull needed parts from.

Thank you
Thank you for your timely response, it is greatly appreciated. I am relieved that I will not have any major issues. Those you addressed appear to be minor. I was lucky enough to get the trans cross member from the vehicle I pulled the trans from. Again I thank you for your response.
