Curious if Ford has been following up with interested buyers who took the time to register, attend and participate in the Drive Tour Event with a special marketing coupon rebate offer.

I have not received anything after attending the one here in NC in Hendersonville, NC.

 

That's a big nope. Lots of propaganda, but no incentives/coupons. I guess I didn't expect it with this being such a "big deal" release.

Anaheim, Ca. August 11th, no lines, walked right up and got to drive all 3 (F450, F350 SRW, F250). No offers as of yet but did get a nifty Ford hat!

 

Yep...same drill everywhere. Walked right in...no line.....talked to the pretty Ford girl standing there....drove a 450 around the parking lot and went home with a black Ford hat.

 

Same thing happened here when Ford was doing the Ecoboost Tour across the country. I registered on line and a few months later I received a call from a lady in Dearborn who scheduled my drive event. The Ford engineer person brought the truck to my house and I had full control for an hour.

I got a black F150 hat. So I asked for three and he gave them to me. I passed them out at work.

 

Dang, I bought the truck and did not get a hat.....

 

Don't know why you would want a F150 hat after buying a Super Duty!! Congrats on the new ride.

 

Most said they got a black ford hat, but a hat is a hat and my favorite hat is a free one..

 

In the fall of 2010 I drove the F150 eco at Texas Motorspeedway. Got a black cap, hot dog, chips and drink and a $500 extra cash incentive. Now I am buying a SD that costs nearly double, no cash incentive and have already waited right at 2 months with no build date! Thanks Ford..................

I got a hat and a humongous slice of pizza. My bottomless-pit son snagged two slices of pizza was satisfied (that's saying a lot!). I believe that the event propaganda, er, marketing material, said that there would not be any sales people at the event. I guess they took that a step further and didn't have any sales communications afterwards either.

 

Ill be doing the second one in Anaheim next month, No incentives from the first one, maybe the second I will get something. But 20 entries for a free truck is a good incentive to drive again.
