Truck was an 2001 so engine is a 2001. Truck had 134K so given that the engine is 2006 one could assume it has less miles.

Would they include updates or upgrades when they build the motors like this?
Did I get a good motor? Looks good so far.

 

I recently had a “remanufactured” V10 6.8L Gas engine installed in my truck. The agreement with the mechanic was a 3yr/100,000mile warranty on parts and labor. Mechanic had my truck for nearly 3 months. And I have been asking for and still haven’t received any paperwork stating my warranty. I am trying to figure out if he actually installed a newly remanufactured engine or pulled a fast one and waited to find a used, reman and install it. If anyone can please assist me to find some answers.
