Can Quad beam Led lights be added at dealer?

I located a f350 that has everything I ordered except it has the standard lights and I really want the daytime feature that comes with the LED's... any information will be welcome as I am scheduled to go look at it in the AM.

invstr55 I wouldn't think so. That's just me though maybe its possible. You should get the LED light option as its worth every penny IMOP.

I upgrades my weak headlights on my F150 with 4 TRS HID projectors. They will knock your socks off. (see Help please ! Headlight dilemma ? - F150online Forums for pictures). Do the LEDs perform similarly?

I'm particularly interested in their width performance. With my TRS setup, I literally light up the highway, nearly uniformly, 8 lanes wide. Great for spotting deer that might run out into the road.

The led light assemblies are on the ford parts site for around $1100 a piece ( not pair). It looks like they come with the ballast, so i see no reason why the dealer cant order them and install them. You could probably talk the salesman down on the price as part of the deal. Maybe get you a pair for half price because you know the mark up is huge and they wont be losing much. Even if you paid full price, its still a lot cheaper than getting the ultimate package then having to add the leds on top of that.

Why would you need to wait another 3 months?

I have one ordered but hope I can find one before waiting for mine to be built.

I'm with ya brother.......waiting sucks a$$!! I found a Platinum truck close to what I ordered and considered driving completely across the country to get it before finally talking myself out of it. Patience is a virtue they say but one I just don't have frankly! I would think parts are limited availability but it has to be do-able as far as upgrading AFTER the fact but you can bet your a$$ it will be expensive to do! I would get a quote from your local dealer b4 making any drastic choices.

If you could, check with them to see if in fact it can be done and let us know. The wiring harness may be all together different with these lights, although there are aftermarket harnesses for the f150 oem led conversions. then again the led assembly may come with all that. If so, i may go this route.

I am seriously contemplating changing out the headlights since the LED is not offered on the Super Cab but I will wait until a tested and marketed system becomes available. There is too much of a balancing act between the computers and and automatic dimmers and windshield wiper activated headlamps to risk upsetting the apple cart without someone else proving their system is compatible and equivalent to OEM. There is also a value in the take out headlights but that may be a while before it can be realized unless a bunch of people start crashing their new trucks right away.

From what I have heard the dealer can not add these lights, but I could be wrong.

I would just pressure the dealer, essentially telling them, "if you install the LED light package I'll buy the truck". If they can be trusted to have the motivation to find out if it can be done, then all you have to do is sit back and WAIT! Haha
