How much end-play is normal for a stock clutch pedal?
I've tried like hell to get the lock-pin out of my stock pedal assembly on the '49 F3......Heat, cursing, BFH, etc. The main shaft pin is jammed in there hard. Looks like it was peened over at the factory and I don't want to drill it and find another.
So before I hurt myself or the assembly, would I have much to gain by putting in new bushings?
The brake pedal is pretty firm, no play.
But the clutch has 1/4" of wobble measured at the very pedal end.
For you guys who have put in new bushings.....is there still a little wobble afterward?
Thanks for any replies...
