New old shoes on the ol girl
These white wagon wheels were bought new from my father n law backin the early 80s and he had them on a 78 250 and since had been passed along to other farm trucks then retiring to the back of one of his barns in the late 90s. I needed them to make a roller when I bought the truck and since I damaged one of the alum wheels in my sig these were on the truck and were pretty much an eye sore.
I had a local older guy that has done some other Powdercoating for me do these wheels for me. The original tires were from the early 90s and were bald and dry rotted pretty good and I didn't drive on them that much. With them being 16.5s there isn't much of an option for new. The alum wheels are also 16.5s with good tires on them. After blasting and coating the nasty white wheels which clashed with the truck anyways, I swapped tires and the truck is finally off blocks after a month!! Kinda cool to have something from the family repurposed on my ride.
