changing door pin 1996 ford f250
I got replacement door pins for a 1996 ford f150, I was told to drill them out.
other kits I seen for other automobiles had one big pin and one small pin in the kit.
the upper pin was smaller than the pin.
long story short, drilled the bracket for the pin, now the bushing wont go in.
Got a bigger pin off of a chrysler and going to try and re-drill.
but before doing so, can anyone help me pick a drill size to drill the bushing hole?
the new pin is .340"x4.092"
the bushing is .490" OD .340" ID.
the other bushing is .50" OD - 370" ID.

If so you need a 31/64 drill which is supposed to be .4844, then polish out until you get to .490 or slightly larger to drop - or press that bushing in ...
