To check Rods idea about dirty contacts in the relay, it would be simple enough to jump 12 volts to the relay & check resistance thru the contacts with an ohm meter. If you read high resistance theres the problem

Thanks!

Hard to argue with shorod, but before you replace the relay, you could just remove it and see if there's any corrosion on the relay prongs/pins and the socket. Sometimes, just removing and re-installing is just enough to clean it up or you could use a Scotchbrite. There could be high resistance where the relay plugs into the box. Just a thought...

I checked the relay, it was nice and clean, that would have been a cheaper and easier fix than...

So, on the way home from work that day, I was turning a corner and I gave it some gas, I got chugging instead of pickup. I still checked the relay, although at this point, I started leaning towards that wretched fuel pump in the gas tank that has to be dropped to gain access.

Fuel Pump Assy - Check
Fuel Filter - Check
Busted Knuckles - Check
Fixed Ex - Check and Check!

Had a 20% discount at Advance, so I managed to save myself about $50 on the deal.

Thanks to everyone for their help, an ear for listening, and a shoulder for crying!
