2013 F150 brake options

I'm looking to upgrade the front brakes on my F150. I'm looking at either EBC or Hawk for pads and rotors. What is everyone's thoughts on these brands?

Never heard of either. But I'm curious why change
I'm easy on brakes, and tires and get more miles out of them than most people. I've gotten over 75k on the OE stuff, with no issues.
When I do change pads, and need rotors, I usually get the high end Wagner stuff.

Subscribing. My OEMs are junk. Have had them turned twice under 36k miles for vibration but Ford will only turn, not replace them under warranty. Will not be going with OEMs once they are finally gone.

My 2011, before it was totaled out, and my 2013 are my daily driver. And I do load the bed with brick, mulch, dirt, etc depending on what I've gotten myself into. So since the truck isn't loaded down heavy all of the time, and like I mentioned, I'm not hard on brakes, suspension, and tires.
But using the truck like I do, I've gotten good use out of the wearing items. But every time the rotors are machined, they naturally get thinner, and will then get hotter faster, and warp faster.
My 2011 did have a helluva vibration to it when braking from an exit ramp off of a hiway, but I wouldn't call the brake system junk for that. And there was plenty of brake pad left, just warped rotors.

I went with slotted/dimpled rotors on my 2006 and forget the maker of the pads but I got over 50k out of them and I am VERY hard on my brakes. I want to say it was someone that was advertising on the board.

I will be going with similar setup on my 2013 when the stock rotor/pads give up on me.

I have had a little vibration on and off with the oem brakes over the years and also I want better brakes for when I eventually get my trailer. Also I've had heavy brake dust on my right front wheel and not much on the rest. I don't think it's a caliper because the truck doesn't pull to one side while braking. I'm going to try better brake hoses as well to see if that alleviates it.

When I do mine sometime in the very distant future based on current wear, I'm going with the high end Duralast rotors from AZ and the sticking with the OE motorcraft pads. After 66K miles, the front rotors suck but the pads at all four corners still have about 6/32's of meat remaining.

That part right there doesn't sound right to me, unless there are different pair of brake pads on that spot. It seems to me that the less expensive brake pads are the ones that are dustier, and wear out faster.
I'll use OE depending on the price, but if I don't like the price, then it'll be Wagner pads, and rotors. I've used that brand literally for years, at the shop, and for my own stuff. But also like I mentioned earlier, I'm not a panic stopper, and rarely loaded heavy.

I'm going to put whatever is on mine back on it. Mine feel wonderful and at 103,000 miles my rears are finally about done.

If you are going with non OE parts, buy from a store that will give you a lifetime warranty on the rotors/pads. That saves money in the long run.

That's my deal with Wagner stuff, lifetime warranty, and I've never had an issue. Next to Zero brake dust, and it doesn't take a truck payment to by parts.

I think I'll at least get the wagner hoses for the front brakes. Got some time to decide on pads and rotors, don't plan on doing them till mid september.

Mine had started to vibrate at about 20K miles so I put on Power Stop drilled and slotted rotors with Hawk ceramic pads. It gave me about 20% more braking power and I now have over 40K miles on them without problems. The down side to ceramic pads is they put a little more dust on your wheels but it's easy to wash off.
