This is what the old girl wanted to haul back home 450 miles...
Just showing the new trucks how to do it I guess.
But really if she could talk she would probably be saying yeeehaw right now. Coming from Utah will be going over Eisenhower tonight into Denver, see how she does there but through the Utah Canyons she did great

No way, if you read on FTE you'd know the 6.0 broke down 17 times, took 9 pairs of headgaskets and an oil cooler, 3 months, and $37,000 to make the trip. And was still towed home by a 7.3L
When you're in the tunnel, set the cruise control to 60-65mph and hit the tow haul button. The truck will downshift to help you hold speed and make it a little easier on the brakes. That's a long downhill.
After the tunnel there's also a nasty uphill grade right after Idaho Springs on the way down towards Denver. Starts right after a hard curve, can be a pain if you get caught behind a semi going around the curve.

Behind me is a 6.4 2008 just had a brand new top of the grade engine built for it supposedly but 4 miles on it and a lifter is gone.
Agreed I'm not too used to not having an engine brake light like the semi does. So far so good on the six and seven percent grade through Utah but I've seen Eisenhower take out the best so.

What direction were they "flying by"? Side of the road, fast lane, slow lane, rollback, tow truck???

Haha mostly fast lane. And Every. Single. One. Had small campers or pop ups... although I kept cruise at 68 for MPG and still managed to catch some on hills in a 75-80 zone... lmao
