Wheels for 1948 F1 with disc brake

I am planning to update my F1, with the speedway motors front disc brake kit, and an explorer rear end.
Both axles will now have the 5 X 4 1/2 bolt pattern.
I would like to run plain steel wheels, any suggestions on where I can buy an economical set of wheels.?
I was thinking 15 X 7 wheels would fit nicely, and look good, but I am not sure of backspace.
Anyone done this swap ???

Too bad that you don't live closer. I have a pair of 2001 Ford Explorer wheels & tires that I got from a U-Pull-It yard in Flat Rock that I no longer need. There are some U-Pull-It yards near you. https://www.google.com/#q=u-pull-it+...s+pennsylvania

I have the same setup with the Speedway front discs and an 8.8" Explorer Sport Trac rear axle. I had Wheelsmith make me a set of steel, '34 Ford-style artillery wheels.

NICE !!!
Looks like added a automatic trans to your flathead, is that a C-4?
I also plan to put in an automatic, what adapter did you use for the swap.

No, it is a Ford 4R70W so I don't have to mess with mechanical throttle linkage adjustment.
